In this paper, we introduce a partial product process which is a sequence of non-negative random variables such that the distribution function of is and the distribution function of is where are constants and . Then based on this process maintenance model for a deteriorating system under policy N is discussed. An explicit expression for the long run average cost per unit time is derived and numerical example is given.
