In this article, stylistic techniques and methods are used for the stylistic study. Linguistic foregrounding is considered as one important concept of stylistics. It focuses more on the linguistic parallelisms, deviations, repetitions and figures of speech given and fore grounded in a literary work. This stylistic study is made under the different linguistic levels: graphology, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. The study would be helpful in understanding the basic concept of the poem "London" and to analyze the structure, style and foregrounding in the whole poem. In this poem, William Blake is principally describing a very corrupted society dominated by the power of materialism and the contrasts between the upper and working class sections of society.
